A set of wirelessly connected sensors able to measure soil health indicators, ranging from multiple chemicals, physical and biological soil properties. This device can provide detailed soil quality data via a single probe with sensors, reporting information such as soil moisture, pH, salinity, NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium) and aeration respiration, air temperature, light, and humidity. The length of the device allows for soil management from the topsoil to below the roots.
The information gathered from the sensors is stored in the cloud, allowing users to access a real-time visualization tool that supports decision-making regarding watering, nutrient recovery, pesticides, and other recommendations. This data also helps match fertilizer supply with demand, saving money and increasing yields while improving soil health. A software could show easily understandable data with different timeframes: every fifteen minutes, day, week, month, or season. Sensors could also send alerts when noticing early signs of drought or pests, helping to detect and reduce their consequences.
