Moss-based Air Filter

Mosses are non-vascular plants that absorb nutrients and water due to their rootless structure, growing over surfaces and reproducing vastly. These plants are the green lungs of the earth, as they cover massive surface areas and can catch pollutants, including carbon dioxide. Moss are natural air purifiers and coolers that take advantage of mosses' oxygenizing and cleansing capabilities.
Moss filters are handy for combating air pollution due to their ability to filter fine dust particle matter. Also capable of acting as an air purifier, moss filters are installed by combining moss with IoT sensors that monitor the moss status and automatically supply it with the required nutrients. In turn, the moss filter generates air quality assessments, improves the overall air quality, and refreshes the air around the installations.
These structures are equipped with solar-powered sensors to facilitate remote monitoring in case of diseases or any abnormal behavior of moss culture and rainwater collectors to pump water back into the soil, thus creating an irrigating system.
